Quality/Environment

Our company, the Wilms GmbH Electroplating (Lohngalvanik) division, emerged from Wilms GmbH and was founded in Menden in 1974.

Our customer base consists of semi-finished products factories, which supply basic products to the manufacturers of electrical components in the automobile and electrical industries.

The past years have seen production with well-known “Wilms” quality and fundamental expansion through further development in the service and production spectrum.

The satisfaction of our customers is always in first place; this involves not only the price/performance ratio of our branded products, but also the philosophy of giving our customers the feeling that they are working together with the right partner.
We not only implement current market demands with the most modern production equipment and sophisticated organization methods, we also take into account the demands of each individual market participant.

In addition, we maintain our unreserved dedication to environmental protection. On this basis, we plan:

  1. to uphold the environmental management system according to DIN EN ISO 14001 introduced and implemented in 2009 for the maintenance of these guidelines
  2. to further support employees with the goal that they actively take on a share of the responsibility in the company’s environmental protection policies,
  3. to avoid faults and accidents,
  4. to use natural resources sparingly,
  5. to assess the environmental effects of all our activities in advance,
  6. to avoid environmental pollution or reduce it to a minimum,
  7. to observe all legal regulations. We commit ourselves to maintaining official conditions, laws and directives such as e.g. the fulfillment of regulations in the Hazardous Substances Ordnance and the Land Ordinances on Storing, Filling, and Transporting Substances Harmful to Water in Manufacturing.

In our company, consistent quality and environmental orientation and its associated obligation to constantly improve should be a long-term process fulfilled by all employees.

Continuous further development with the goal of realizing a zero defects strategy is part of the responsibility for each of our employees.

The management absolutely stands behind these quality and environmental policies and commits each employee to follow these policies in his activities with the company.

We will regularly test these determined quality and environmental policies and the associated quality and environmental goals for their attainment and effectiveness.

To ensure the company’s success, all business processes correspond to the requirements of quality- and environmental management according to ISO/TS 16949 and DIN EN ISO 14001.
